The tasks provided by the Information Technology Literacy course started out quite easy and progressively gotten harder and harder. I have a lot of experience in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint so task one to three was accomplished in minutes! The real challenge began with task four and six.
In my undergraduate career, I did not need to use Microsoft Access. As I write this, I still have not completed task four but the task itself seems straight forward. The challenge for me is installing the program on to my Mac. As for task six, I have not used HTML since high school when novice webpage creation was a hobby of mine. I seem to have long forgotten the basics but with a little practice I am sure I will do fine. As for the rest of the tasks, I have experience with making social media accounts and using VPNs so those were fun but easy to complete. Overall, I think this test is a great refresher for skills most of us already have.
